There are lots of states that you can choose to do your business in. So why pick Utah? GigaOM is a data analysis company that recently looked at Google Insight data to figure out where the most interest in tech companies was around the nation. In fact, based on the company’s research, Utah is just as prominent a tech capital in America as is Boston and Silicon Valley.
One great example of this in action is Electronic Arts (EA) investing some of its resources into Utah with its latest gaming venture: Risk. Risk is originally a board game but EA is making it into a video game. And they’re doing it in Utah. It’s EA’s first venture into Utah but the company is excited to take advantage of the opportunities Utah can provide them, and of course, Salt Lake City is happy to have such a popular, up-and-coming organization set up shop in the state capital.
Gaming isn’t the only growing tech industry in Utah. Film and television is always making its way here, as well as software development and computer modeling.
So, if with all of these other tech companies trusting their business to Utah, why shouldn’t you? There are many colocation companies that can provide top-of-the-line service and support at competitive prices because your business matters not just to our companies, but to our state.
